ABOUT THE GARDEN
A distinguished creation from the celebrated Turzum estate, Turzum Gold is a finely hand-sorted speciality tea crafted from the prized Teesta-1 cultivar. Plucked on 28.05.2026 and manufactured with precision on 29.05.2026, this tea reflects the careful judgement of the planter and the quiet artistry of orthodox manufacture.
The leaves were gently withered for 16 hours to achieve a balanced 50% wither, allowing their natural aromatic potential to unfold with restraint and elegance. A measured 4-hour fermentation process, including rolling, lends depth and refinement to the cup, while drying at 240°F with a 24-minute run-through helps preserve the tea’s brightness, bloom, and delicate floral expression. Final hand sorting ensures a graceful and visually polished appearance.
Turzum Gold is an elegant Teesta-1 clonal tea with evenly crafted copperish-brown leaves and a fine show of golden tips. Its amber liquor offers a pleasant body with delicate floral notes, while the bright coppery infusion carries a soft, fragrant nose—making it a refined and graceful cup from Turzum.

Nestled in the mist-laden hills of Darjeeling, Lizahill Tea Estate carries the quiet elegance of a classic Himalayan garden. Once an independent estate with its own factory, Lizahill is now part of the historic Risheehat Tea Garden, a name associated with steep terrain, fertile mountain soil, and the refined character of organic Darjeeling tea. Its elevation, cool climate, and well-drained slopes create ideal conditions for producing teas of delicacy, brightness, and aromatic complexity.
The garden is especially linked with the prized Darjeeling profile—floral, layered, and muscatel in expression, with second flush teas known for their distinctive depth and fragrance. Surrounded by neighbouring Darjeeling gardens and set within a richly traditional tea-growing belt, Lizahill reflects the region’s enduring craft: careful plucking, sensitive manufacture, and a deep respect for the mountain terroir that gives Darjeeling tea its celebrated identity.
