ABOUT THE GARDEN
SKU: L/EX08/26
A rare and elegant white tea from Lizahill Tea Estate, crafted exclusively from the prized AV2 cultivar, this slow, patient natural withering of 14–16 hours, achieving a careful 60–65% wither, allowing the tender shoots to gently lose moisture while preserving their floral-fruity clonal character.
With only 5–10 minutes of light oxidation, the tea retains its luminous freshness, bright green appearance, and graceful aromatic lift. Precision drying at 240°F further locks in the leaf’s natural sweetness and subtle complexity, while hand sorting ensures a clean, elegant finish with an excellent show of tips.
The dry leaf is bright green and visually refined, generously tipped and full of youthful spring vibrancy. In the cup, the liquor opens to a soft light-yellow hue, carrying a delicate yet distinctive fruity AV2 clonal flavour. The infusion remains bright green, revealing the tea’s freshness, purity, and skilful minimal handling.
This is a poised and sophisticated white tea—light, fragrant, and gracefully fruity, with the unmistakable signature of AV2 character and the quiet luxury of careful artisan manufacture.

Nestled in the mist-laden hills of Darjeeling, Lizahill Tea Estate carries the quiet elegance of a classic Himalayan garden. Once an independent estate with its own factory, Lizahill is now part of the historic Risheehat Tea Garden, a name associated with steep terrain, fertile mountain soil, and the refined character of organic Darjeeling tea. Its elevation, cool climate, and well-drained slopes create ideal conditions for producing teas of delicacy, brightness, and aromatic complexity.
The garden is especially linked with the prized Darjeeling profile—floral, layered, and muscatel in expression, with second flush teas known for their distinctive depth and fragrance. Surrounded by neighbouring Darjeeling gardens and set within a richly traditional tea-growing belt, Lizahill reflects the region’s enduring craft: careful plucking, sensitive manufacture, and a deep respect for the mountain terroir that gives Darjeeling tea its celebrated identity.
