Darjeeling Risheehat Moonshine Organic First Flush 2026 – Limited Edition

SKU: R/EX23/26

Crafted in the renowned Darjeeling region, the Risheehat Ex 23 “Moonshine” is a finely made AV2 clonal tea that reflects both precision processing and the expressive character of early spring leaf.

This tea undergoes a carefully controlled natural withering of 58–60% over 10–12 hours, followed by a very brief oxidation of just 5–10 minutes—preserving the freshness and clarity typical of high-elevation clonal teas. Drying at 240°F locks in its delicate aromatics, while meticulous hand sorting ensures a visually appealing leaf with abundant silvery tips.

In the cup, the liquor reveals a pale, luminous yellow—clean and inviting. The aroma and taste lean toward a refined clonal profile: smooth, light-bodied, and elegant. Notes of fresh citrus—particularly lemon—intertwine with soft fruity undertones, creating a bright yet balanced character. The infusion opens into a vibrant green leaf, releasing a gentle sweetness and a crisp, refreshing finish.

Guided by tea master Rajiv Kumar, this tea captures the essence of its AV2 cultivar—offering a nuanced cup that is both delicate and expressive.
