Perched at elevations ranging from 2,800 to 4,800 feet in the mist-laden hills of Darjeeling, Risheehat Tea Estate is one of the most celebrated gardens in the region. The name "Risheehat" translates to “Home of the Saints,” a nod to the spiritual serenity of its surroundings. Established in the mid-19th century, the estate is renowned for its organic cultivation practices and meticulously crafted teas—especially its exquisite First Flush and White Teas.
Any Time
Use filtered or bottled water. Heat the water up to 95°C. Put in 2.5 g of loose tea for every cup (180 ml). Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain into a cup and serve.
