A single estate tea harvested during the summer, positioned between first and second flush. The tea is delicately steamed for 5 minutes, ensuring its vibrant green character is retained. The leaves are then dried at 65–70°C for 15 minutes and rolled at 120–125°C for 20–35 minutes, resulting in a tea with a balanced profile, capturing summer’s essence with subtle vegetal notes and a sweet finish.

Puttabong Tea Estate is Darjeeling’s first and oldest tea garden, established in 1852. Spanning altitudes from 450 to 1980 metres, Puttabong produces some of Darjeeling’s most celebrated teas, renowned for their smooth character and floral undertones. The garden is a blend of heritage and innovation, continuously producing premium teas since its inception. This green tea exemplifies the estate’s commitment to excellence.
Anytime
Use filtered or bottled water.
Heat the water up to 95°C.
Put in 2.5 g of loose tea for every cup (180 ml).
Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
Strain into a cup and serve.
Leaf: Long twisted leaves with a few visible tips.
Liquor: Lime yellow to green cup with very fine upper Darjeeling green tea character.
Infusion: Extremely bright
