Assam Mangalam Supermoon Orthodox Tea 2025

SKU: M/OR1617/FTGFOP1/25

Crafted between the 4th and 5th of December 2025, beneath one of the brightest Super Moons of the year and on the sacred night of Mārgaśīrṣa Pūrṇimā, this Assam orthodox tea carries a quiet celestial imprint. Produced from in-house clones grown in the fertile corridor between Assam and the Naga Hills, this batch originates from the Mangalam field of the Towkok group. Shaped under the seasoned hand of Mr Amar Meet Singh Nain, Director at Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd., whose four decades in tea inform every stage of manufacture, the tea reflects restraint, precision, and patience. Naturally withered, lightly rolled, tenderly handled and slow-fired, it opens with bright hog plum skin and raw mango notes, evolves into a creamy avocado-like astringency, and settles into a serene umami depth with a long, savoury rosemary-butter finish. A tea not merely made, but moon-marked.
